Faculty Team-Building: Minute to Win It Fun!

During one of the initial faculty conference days in 2019, I organized a team-building activity for staff members. Minute to Win It games were introduced, necessitating teachers to collaborate within their respective departments to tackle various enjoyable yet challenging tasks. The activities aimed to foster teamwork and strengthen camaraderie among the departments.

In 2019-2020, I developed a community service program, partnered with Hillside Manor Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility, which is a short and long term care nursing home. Select students had the opportunity to volunteer and give back to our community, while developing compassion, responsibility, and leadership skills.
“Jingle and Jangle” supporting school spirit and holiday festivities among the school community, as Santa’s helpers- December 2019.
Facilitated and organized a virtual high school fair- December 2020.
In the face of a pandemic, my priority was to witness the school community coming together and overcoming the emotional challenges that many were facing. I conceived the idea of crafting a mural featuring a tree, symbolizing growth, strength, life, transformation, and community. Stakeholders, including teachers, the school nurse, custodial staff, cafeteria staff, and students collaborated to bring our vibrant mural to fruition! 2020-2021
